Teen-s viral Facebook post could be useful to therapists

Social media is often seen as something that increases depression and anxiety in teenagers. However, a recent Facebook post by a teen suffering from depression went viral for a positive reason when Katelyn Marie Lesho told the internet how she was able to brush her hair and how it feels to have depression. In a recent article in New England Psychologist, William James College professor Nadja Lopez, PhD, comments on the usefulness of this post for therapists with young patients suffering from depression.
