WSJ: Mental-Health Apps Make Inroads With Consumers and Therapists

Dr. Nadja Lopez, Associate Director at the Freedman Center for Child and Family Development, commented in the articles featured in the Wall Street Journal which discussed the use of apps on smartphones in regards to mental health. Some of these apps are used to track and manage emotions, provide guided meditation, and promise to reduce anxiety. Lopez discussed the stigmas associated with therapy and how technology may help or hinder the therapeutic process.
